Upcoming Events
June 21 - 24, 2007: Gaufest, of the Gauverband Nordamerika
Hershey, PA.
This fest will have 2000+ Trachtlers in attendance.
It starts with a dance Thursday evening that is often an all folkdance dance featuring "echte" music. Friday will be full of workshops, plus a dance in the evening. Saturday there will be competition Schuhplattler to watch (or for Gau Vereine to participate in) in the morning, a Mundartmesse in the afternoon followed by a Trachtenzug (Trachten parade) and a gala banquet. Sunday will be a picnic and a Farewell Dance.

Sponsored by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Volkstanz e.V. (DGV)
German folkdance groups from all around Germany will meet for 4 days of dancing in the fest hall and on the streets.
Fest tickets cost about 55 Euros and entitles the dancer to admission to the dances in the fest hall and to some workshops.
